Good evening 24 was the high today. The warm spring weather seems to have finally gotten a foothold thankfully. Mopar only show this Sunday so hope it lasts for that, its a 2 hour drive from here so no rain is much appreciated lol. Got the new lower driver door hinge painted and installed, what a difference!
Have a great evening

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening a little cooler today at least until late afternoon but warmed up alot in the afternoon. We are basically cut off from the world today. A fuel truck is on its side on the #1 no way around it the highway is shut down until 4AM Friday and of course this section is 2 lanes through a provincial park along side a critical salmon bearing river. The circle route (which adds 2 hours or more on a good day)which is a fancy name for logging road is shut down because a motorhome is on its side probably trying to get up island and taking an unfamiliar dirt road instead of popping a top and relaxing. Its pitiful what we put up with on that highway, I hate driving it but will have to on Sunday to go to the Mopar show. Its even more fun towing a 41 foot fifth wheel and every turd on the road is doing thier impression of Mario Andretti.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 10 should top out around 24 ish. Ya Mike they were saying the same thing here but now the forecast is changing to the better for our Mopar show so hope the same happens out your way. The only thing thats almost a guarantee this weekend is wind, its the Swiftsure sailboat race and usually but not always we get some strong westerly winds. The years theres no wind it kinda funny to watch 200 sailboats trying to catch the tide to get them moving. JG hows the brakes coming along?

Re: Good Morning Thread
GOOD day, well Reg looks like this luck is following me, the master cylinder I bought happened to be NO DAMN GOOD ''I would say more but what is the use'', it had probably been sitting on a shelf for a few years, I returned it yesterday and got my money back. Today I ordered a new one from NAPA, hope this one will turn out ok should get it wed.or thursday. I by-passed the proportioning valve which has been playing tricks on me for way too long, finished all the connections and hope nothing leaks.
Cloudy and showers this morning and 10 or so, got up to 25 with Mr. sun popping out for the last 2-3 hours. May as well start waxing the car since I'm waiting anyway.
have a great rest of the day!

Good morning, made it here this morning, got up to clouds, might see some sun before noon. Took the day off from the Dart today, I have to wait for a part anyway. Takes a day off once in a while. I might start waxing tomorrow, I can only do 3/4 of the car anyway since there is still work to do under the hood.
Have a great day and cruise on.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, we have a cloudy day this morning at 13, should partly clear in a few hours and get some sun later with a high of 20.
I have a crazy gauge too but I'm too cheap to buy a new one, I know it's 60* off so i just subtract 60 all the time. Some day though! At least it was 60 off last year.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 9 clear no wind should be a good day yet again. JG I have done some reading and most new electric guages are fairly accurate up to 180 then all bets are off. I have to call Eddy today because the mechanical gauge I bought would not fit so need them to tell me if theres a specific fitment recomendation or just cobble together a bunch of fittings. First oil change today or tomorrow so will run a magnet through the oil and hopefully wind up with just an oily magnet.
Have a great day

Reg you should have oily fingers too unless you have it done. Let us know of the results.

JG my fingers are so bloddy oily from gear oil, engine oil, you name it I don`t know if I would even notice anymore . Now the push is on for the biggie in Penticton on the 23rd. I still have a few issues to get resolved and fingers crossed my new hood with dual functional scoops will be painted before we leave.
