Hello, the girls made it to the semis and if they win...which I doubt, it will be the final.

We had planned NOT to stay for the final anyway, it was to be at 6 o'clock and would have ended likely around 7 and maybe later so that would have meant getting home around 8:30-9:00, in the dark, not a good time.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, just got back from running a few errands. It was -1 when I got up and 3 now, calling for high of 9 tomorrow but with partly cloudy skies...we'll see what we get.
''crankycrow'' might be able to help you with that 8 3/4 sure grip. I am in the 8 1/4 league with 350 HP.
You might need wider tires now.
Seems to me you are running a 727 tranny, if so you should be all right, but if you have a 904, 450 hp might be pushing its limits unless you have a HD kit in there.
Not like Dan to be so quiet for so long.
Have a great day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
I ran 225/70-15 last year and for a few years to come, with a sure grip you don't really need wide tires unless you have silly power. Before the sure grip I ran 255/60-15 but that was an open rear. No real need for gas burning 60's when you have a sure grip, you have at least twice the traction you used to have.

We talked a while back about sub frame connectors, with this new power these are a must. Hope you got them in before you twist that car apart.
Good morning, today it is sunny and the sun is supposed to stay most of the day...hope so. It only went down to 0-1 last night and the high for today is 8. Think i will go for a walk later.
Have a great day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 5 and showers but we are going camping so I am sure this will turn to rain lol. Yes JG frame connectors went in before I took the old motor out I even painted them body colour because as I clean up the underside of the car the original paint is still pretty good but getting 50 years of road guk and oil and parts of something that had fur off is time consuming and seeing as I do it on my back its a job best described as quite undesirable.

Man colder than a mother inlaws kiss this morning but quite nice as the day went on. Took the Dart out for a burn and to make sure all the leaks are fixed. Camping was awesome as usual only had rain yesterdaqy afternoon and most of the fellow revellers were not so sad to sit inside thier trailer and maybe NOT have a drink.
Have a great rest of the day
