Determination and an end goal, are always good when doing physio.

Good day all, got back from Fredericton a little over 2 hours ago. We left shortly before 8 at a temp of -3 and reached a high of 10 this afternoon. It's only about a 1 1/2 hour trip each way IF you don't stop.
Have a great day all.

Good morning, 0 and still calling for snow flurries but nothing other than brilliant sun so far. Weather forecasters pffftt. The new to me 8 3/4 is ready to go in the car and my exhaust is welded so I see a weekend of laying around in my future.
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good mid morning to all Moparians, already 6 at 11:15 am, sort of like spring, help is on its way to finish putting my 8 1/4 sure grip together and under the car where it belongs.
The sun seems to be fairly bright but there is a thin layer of clouds hanging around.
Have a great day all.

Good day all, we reached a mild +8 today. Not as nice as the last couple of days, but still above 0. and that's good anytime.

Maybe but don't forget those darn currents coming up from the states. When those come up your weather usually ends in southern Quebec.

Good morning all. Lots of rain here, I can actually see parts of my lawn poking through! Cass for DrDiff just sent me tracking info on the 4:10 gear set and install kit. Who hoo its on it's way!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning -1 and waiting for the flurries to get started. Looks like they will be right this time unfortunetly. Nothing I like more than rolling around under the car outside in minus weather but its got to be done. Sounds like alot of us are into rear ends right now, out with the 7 1/4 in with the 8 3/4 today or tomorrow here. I have to mount the exhaust from muffler back to get the right lengths for the header back pipes and cut those then get them welded to the collectors. I may just pull the old 7 1/4 and not install the new 8 3/4 until I am all done with the exhaust which still needs polishing, lots to do yet.
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Those 7 1/4 rears are stronger than most people think. I ran the old 7 1/4 for about 7 years before I got to install the 8 1/4 and it never said boo but during that time there were no burnouts although it did see WOT a few times all coming from about 350 HP. 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 are much stronger though and a sure grip makes them even stronger and I cant wait to find out how those 3.55 gears feel like compared to the 2.76 (more fuel).
I hope you have the proper shock plates...but somehow I don't think you forgot about them.
This seems like a popular year for rear ends.

JG the shock plates are on their way just not in hand yet. I am interested to hear how you like the difference in gearing.

Won`t know about the gearing til about mid May...unless we get awfully lucky. It takes that long for the streets to be salt free and washed a couple times. You get some guys who don't care about their cars and take them out about two weeks earlier.Ragtacker wrote:JG the shock plates are on their way just not in hand yet. For the gearing part ''Keith Mopar'' told me it would be like having an extra 50 HP...more fun too.

I'm running an 8 3/4 sure grip with355s in mine. At 70 MPH, the RPM's are a little high, so I use a bit more fuel than I would like.

Do we ever really need anything. That would be like asking you if you needed to change the rear end in your car. lol Didn't your car wok fine with the 7 1/4 ?
