Looking really good. Are you still going to have access to the smaller garage in the back ?

Too bad we never see any pics of you working Phil, we really don't have any proof of you working. LOL...

Re: Garage construction
Garage is looking good Phil, bet you can't wait to fill it.
They do allow garage pads to be pored on grade here and we have nasty cold winters with warm spells and refreezing but they don't seem to move around to much. If the garage is over 24 X 24 then it must use footing below grade of 1 meter.

Re: Garage construction
This is a different way of building, around here it is footings first, floor second and then they build the walls on the flat and level floor. Anyway, I bet today was a wet day or did you get lucky and dry?

Re: Garage construction
Today was dry. Just start raining.
My concrete contractor want to pour the floor after the building is built. He say it's more trouble for him but it seems it does a better job as the concrete doesn't dry as quickly so it's doesn't crack.

Re: Garage construction
With our Canadian climate it's either heated floors or no heat at all. Part time heat does more harm than good.

Still having computer issues and I'm not able to do much on this tablet. My wife wants to have our old computer fixed, because she isn't sure what is on it that she wants to keep. Me, I say toss it and start from scratch.Ragtacker wrote:Ya know this is crazy its right side up on my Ipad. Dan we need you!!
