The stainless pushrod tubes. Nornally the tube is cast in the cyl head. Those heads were ported extensively and they use stainless pushrod tube so they could enlarge the intake port as much as possble.

Lots of work imho, aftermarket cyl heads would have been better.

Good morning people, kind of a damp day, at least for a while, should clear up later but at least we need it at some point.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, beautiful sun and warm temps, today. Going to remove the glass from the Duster doors today. Never done it before so it will be a learning experience. Have a good day.

Nice here, now 9 and a high of 28.

I've never seen the push rod tubes on any thing but a race motor, You're right about after market heads would be better and probably preform better too!

Good day all. Fort Mac, is going through some awful stuff right now. I have relatives that live there, but I've been unable to contact them. Hope they are alright. T-Shirt day outside today, love this warm sunny weather.

BC can't even help with the fire in F. Mac due to the amount of fires we have on the go. Best of luck to them all.

Good morning all, cloudy and drizzle, weather Fort Mac would appreciate I bet...what a mess over there. Fire can be a good thing in winter time but in summer not so much.
Got my lawn tractor back together yesterday.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all. Mild today with a small chance of showers. Got word this morning that my nephew who lives in Fort Mac, lost his house to the fire, but he wasn't there to witness it because he is in Jamaica on vacation.

Like most people who lost their homes said to the reporters ''at least houses can be replaced''.

This is true, however there is lots that can't be replaced, such as photographs of relatives that are no longer with us. And no matter how much the insurance companies give you, they can't replace all the lost years working hard for what you had. I talked with my nephew this morning and he said that because he works on the pipelines and things as slow as they are, him being laid off and with no home to go back to, he is now going to have to leave Fort Mac and start over somewhere else. Problem is, he's not the only one in this position. Because he wasn't home, he was not able to take anything. He says the insurance company will likely only give him about 75% of the replacement value of everything. He doesn't even have a car left, they burnt with the house as well. He tells me that he is afraid to spend his savings on a car, when he doesn't know how long the money he has will take care of his family, until money starts coming in again.

Thats the gut wrenching reality of this disaster, it just destroys so much and lots of times we who are outside of the situation are just not aware of the all the consequences. There is never a good time for this disaster but if there was ever a bad time its for sure right now with the downturn and loss of income to have it coupled with this disaster is more than some people will be able to handle. Like I said earlier my thoughts go out to all, its just horrible. I know if I was living there and lost all of my possessions at 62 years old I don`t know how I could get back on track, my whole 62 years is inside these walls all I have ever worked for all I have collected, saved, acquired is within 50 feet of my shop where I work which is also in my home. I was a volunteer firefighter for ten years I have seen what fire does to a life its rarely good or beneficial. I don`t know why I wrote all this except it just came pouring out and i did not feel like stopping I guess.
Have a great day lots of good folks aren`t.

I think we all think of the devastated ones, specially when fire strikes so many and does so much damage. We might all have a good day but most of the people affected by this large fire will not. All we can do is hope and pray.

I guess you would have to live through it, to know how you would handle it. I think at my age I couldn't nor would I want to rebuild, what has already taken me a life time to accomplish.
