A reproduction of the original shifter boot and chrome bezel.

I would think that they make an aftermarket reproduction of that dash pad.

Worked all afternoon to pinpoint an idle problem. First job was to remove intake to fix a vaccum leak.(Found the cyl heads were ported.) Tried another carb then found the problem: The distributor. Use the Pertronix distributor from the Duster and presto, nice idle, lots of vaccum.

Looking good Bud. At your age all the pain should be gone in 2-3 days. When the pain is gone, just look at what a beautiful car a lot of sweat equity built. Oh yea and a lot of money.

My brother worked on the Satellite yesterday. Changed gear and pinion in diff, was Noisy. Fix a leaking header, burnt gkt. The exaust port are worked so not much material left. Installed a new distributor, MSD coil and an electric choke. He said that it's drived like a new car. Should have it in N.B. by next week.

Dam you have made some awesome changes on that car. It looked good before, but now it's fantastic.

So the Satellite, engine has an aluminum intake on it now, and your plan is to bring the engine back to stock in appearance.
