Re: Good Morning Thread
MORNIN to all, the sun is hiding and it was only 14 at 7:45AM.
Tightened up my block hugging headers this morning. Hope that cures the knocking sound when I start the car because a leaking header makes the same noise and stops when a little heat from the engine expands the metal.
Besides that all is good, have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all (JGL). Very hot and humid this morning and they are calling for the same hot and humid weather for the next several days. I'm not complaining because this is probably the last of it for this year and then it's all down hill from there.

Good day all, another long day at work. Hell I think that I'm getting to old to keep this up. Maybe it's time to retire again.

It's always nice to get rid of those because they tend to stick around in the back of your mind.

Good morning all, really nice weather here today. Going to take the Duster into the shop and have the new rear springs installed. I'm hoping this will help with header clearance.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, sunny when I went for my walk but after the clouds kind of took over. Now mainly sunny with a few clouds floating by but clearing up later...and it sure is muggy.
Dan: new rear springs should raise the front a bit too so your header clearance should improve. Another thing which stops headers from scrapping is to replace the stock front sway bar with a 1 1/8" sway bar. Mine is made by Helwig and bought through SD truck springs(best price I found).

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning fellas. Hopefully you are all doing well. Nice day here today. Working on days like today really suc...especially knowing that winter is around the corner. Had a 360 built for me from MRL Performance in Michigan. Finally picked it up at the border yesterday. Hope to get it in over this weekend. Quick question...where would the neutral safety switch be located on an A-body with an A833 tranny? steering column, no?

Morning guys. Kind of a crappy day outside so I'm going to prime my new to me valiance for the 65 Cuda. Had one shipped from Portland or. and it was rough but a lot better than mine.
petnic when you get your new motor in post a video of your car. I've heard lot of good things about MRL, hopefully she runs awesome with your new power plant.

Re: Good Morning Thread
I will when its in. Unfortunately, I require a pilot bearing bushing and I can't find one in town. I even called the Winnipeg area hoping to bus one in. Nothing around that I can get overnight so this weekend is looking like a wash for the install. Nice engine though. Rated at just under 440HP and 458lbs tq. Not bad for a crate.
