Sunny and warm up here....smoke for the forest fires is making the work of breathing interesting....however the soot falling from the skies is a hint of whats soon to come..

Another sunny morning, yesterday was supposed to turn bad but the rain never came. it got cloudy for a while though.
Well Cross smoke in the air is no fun, especially if you are bothered by asthma. We had forest fire smoke from Quebec come down a few years ago and our own also, so smoke is no stranger to us.
Well Dan gods country only exists in the summer time around here.

Smoke seems a little less this morning, the powers that be, evacuated a camp ground 45 minutes from the city yesterday as the fire pushed into the park...the water bombers are already busy and Im sitting on the deck sipping a coffee watching them take off. Have a great day.

Good morning all, It's going to be a beautiful day today, which is good for me as I have a few errands to run and I'd rather do them in the Duster.
I'm packing up today and leaving tonight for the Nats, in Columbus, Ohio. So I'll be away until next Tuesday. I'll talk to you all when I get back. Have a great day.

Hello all, forgot to chime in this morning, that's what happens when you are rushed, ah well those things happen. Dan should be gone so its going to be quiet for a few days. Was sunny this morning but cloudy now, we will see if anything falls this time around.

Good morning all. Well I had a great trip, seen a lot of nice Mopars, weather was fantastic and the people were friendly. I did find the vendors a little pricey, but I was able to deal with a couple of them and brought some stuff back with me that I don't really need.

Yesterday was August 15 which was National Acadian day, most Acadian villages and towns in the maritimes and often elsewhere in Canada where you have Acadians celebrate this day by playing music and reminiscing about our roots. In Dieppe last night we had our usual Acadian mega party. There were 3 bands...music and booze were a great mix until 1:30 AM, although some young people had other stuff than just booze. All in all it was a great time and this morning my voice is not normal. Too much singing and beer. Later people

I was talking to Alan when Mopar-eh opened and I think he has Acadian roots.

Good day all, had another really hot day at work today. Certainly not hoping for winter, but a tad bit cooler wouldn't hurt. These old cars perform better in 20 Celsius weather.
