1969 Fargo W100
I found this truck on a farm while towing away some junk '90s cars. The owner, an old woman, didn't want to part with it if it was hoping to be crushed, so I drove my '65 Fargo the next day and she said she would let it go. The price was free, how could I say no. It's a 1969 Fargo W100, 318 4 speed, 8 3/4, Dana 44, 4.10s, short box. As I found it..
I towed it around with me for a few years without doing anything with it, and just recently tried to get the old 318 going. The 318 would spin, but the clutch was seized to the flywheel and input shaft, so I decided to pull it. I decided to drop in a strong 360 I had, and install a new clutch kit.

Fired it up a few weeks ago after changing out the gas tank, running new gas lines, and welding in exhaust. I need to sort out the brakes, flare new lines, sort out some wiring, figure out a radiator, free up the clutch pedal, and it's good to go.

Dam that is a cool old truck, and your a great worker for getting it going like that, makes me want to get back out to the garage. Boy it cleaned up quit well considering where it was pulled from. You'd think there would be some large rust holes in it after sitting with all that shrubbery on it.
I love the 340 air cleaner on it.

Thanks Keith, I just thought it would be cool to leave the body alone and make it a driver.
The only rust is both running boards, rockers, and bottoms of doors. Otherwise it's solid. Even the interior is in nice original shape.
