1969 Charger R/T SE
Here is mine, a 1969 Charger R/T SE.
UN-Restored.
Had an exterior repaint over all original sheet metal back in '84(no rust), other than that it's still exactly the same as the day it left Hammtrack with some nice options like Tinted Glass all around, PS, PB, Road Wheels/F-70's, Hemi Suspension, Sure Grip, etc.
440 Magnum has never been touched and still in GREAT shape, it even still has the factory original exhaust system intact(new Tips coming).
Everything is there, all in really nice condition, I just maintain it "as is" and leave it alone.... sorta like a janitor.
I mean if it ain't broke.. don't fix it right ?
I get a kick out things like the patina on the top half of the "R"/T emblems that faces up at the sun, and ancient wax residue in the body seams.... fits with just a well maintained old car.
Runs great, very tight and quiet, a real pleasure to drive with lotsa get up and go when 'ya hit the loud pedal. IMO, So much is lost when these Engines get Rebuilt/Bubba'd.
I had a few health scares over the last year or so(it happens when ya get old), so I thought about selling it so the wife won't be stuck after I'm gone, but alas,
figure I might as well just keep it and be happy in the meantime.

I restored a very similar looking Charger a little while ago....what a difference wheels make. Last time I saw the one I restored he had 17" Magnums on it... http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/DENNIS-S-CHARGER.html

Ohhhh so sweet! I like the stripe delete cause it gives you the real metal emblems on the 1/4 and that to me looks so good!
Very nice!!

LOL !
I WISH mine had "those" emblems on it's doors !
But Alas,
I'll have to settle for UN-restored(and not needing it) still with the UN-touched 440, and keep the extra $80K or so restoration costs in my pocket

Very nice car. I agree, you might as well keep the car until you are gone if you love it. The car can be sold just as easily after your gone
as it can while your here so don't worry about the car........enjoy the car.
