Good morning and lets hope for a covidless year or at least more normal. We finally got some real snow Saturday to Sunday...15-20 cm. Had the snow blower out for the first time this season. White blanket everywhere.
TV shots of vacationers on crowded southern beaches are not very encouraging, people are loosing their government jobs over it and so they should as these people specially should know better and use good ol common sense if they have any.

God morning 9 and wind is howling. Blew up to 90 overnight not sure about now but I bet theres rain today as well. I have to finish a Dart seat today and get the shop cleanup finished only 2 days till my hand surgery and that means at least 3 weeks of no work so don`t want any temptations laying around calling my name. JG I know we should stay away from politics here and I refuse to debate religion or politics online but fire everyone of the asshats.

Good day, cloudy and cool today. It's been a very busy Christmas /new years season for me, glad that its all over with for another year.

Good morning 5 bit of rain but here comes #5 ? #6 I can`t remember anymore but its going to be a slobbernoker. Rain hurricane force winds possibly its a bad one they have cancelled the ferries already. All I know is the power better be at 630 and stay on for 3 hours.

Good morning. We have a repeat of yesterdays weather here, cloudy and cool.
Reg, is this type of weather the norm for your part of the country ? Because it really doesn't sound too good. I think that I'd rather have the snow and cold.

Ya Dan this is a La Nina weather pattern this winter stormy and wet but could change to a El nino which is cold and dry this year they are still trying to figure that out. A normal winter is cold and wet but not near as much wind. This one today is going to be a sob it hasn`t started yet but it will be later in the morning and be gone late evening early tomorrow morning very strong very quick. The closer the isobars the stronger the wind the farther apart = less wind. You probably have no wind judging by your areas isobars ours however.....

Damn, I haven't seen the sun in so long. I'm beginning to think that it doesn't exist anymore. We are now into a the third day of cloudy and cool. Supposed to get sun on Friday, but for that pleasure the temps are supposed to get cold. Well at least it will be good for my Ice rink attempt.

Reg, Tuesday was not a nice day. By 2:00 I said that is enough for me. Got tired of trying to keep my hardhat on and the rain coming sideways
was icing on the cake. This traveling back and forth every week is draining my mug. Hope you guys had a good holiday and ate and drank well.
My corned beef turned out absolutely awesome and I stuffed my face new years eve and the next three days for lunch and dinner.

Cookie its draining my mug too! Here I am for at least 2 weeks on my ass at home after my hand surgery. Long story but found out in the prep room I was on the verge of a major coronary event, 199/120 is not good apparently.. they did the surgery hesitated sending me home but eventually did on the understanding I monitor my bp hourly which I did. Safe to say I am on meds now my bp is down in the normal range tonight and I gave a doc visit next Friday for further consultation. They say its the silent killer and they are right I had no symptoms what so ever none. Pay attention to your health boys.

Good morning says its 10 I call bs. Ya no worries I currently have no plans ongoing anywhere lol but having said that I had no plans on Wednesday either. The meds are working well I am a bit on the high side in the morning nothing serious and by supper time its bang on good. Scary shit I had no idea so please keep an eye on your health and don`t ignore warning signs although I had none. Enough of that its a good football day my Mopar pal is picking up his seat today and the rain may hold off until dark. I am going to teach myself how to pinstripe I have decided and if that doesn`t work out some one will get cheap supplies!

Lol Dan ya at least 2 weeks off. Its good can`t lift more than 1.5 pounds and if I do it screams at me but the Surgeon was true to his word he told me the incision would be so small with todays techniques that he would not even have to prescribe pain killers and he was right I haven`t taken even an asprin. Its had it moments but ya no drugs at all.

Reg, a lot has changed in the medical world, It’s been around 15 years since I’ve had my arm surgery. They told me then that seven and a half pounds would be my limit. But they also said that I would lose complete use of my arm eventually. They were right about the weight but I never lose the use of it yet. But painkillers are a way of life for me.

A sunny good morning for a change, this morning I woke to -12 and sun...now it is -.5 with blue skies. This should be our high for the day. Went to pick up my repaired pass window crank gear off my Dart Sport, which I had repaired, glad I found a mechanic who likes older cars and likes to work on them. The work on my cluster has been put on hold till Feb. as there is no rush for it now.
The 15-20 cm of snow which we got before Christmas is still around as our temps have mainly been around -5 to 0 with not much sun, so not much has melted.
