Kind of familiar to me but not as much for you. Your snow banks are not high enough. We have snow white mountains all around us.

Good day guys. I see everyone is still cleaning snow. Worked today. Sheldon, retirement isn't all that its cracked up to be. J-G, has only recently retired, so it's still fun for him. I retired in 2006, but I took a part time job about 2 years ago, because I was just plain bored. Most guys that have worked hard their whole lives have a hard time adjusting to retirement. At least I did. However I never would return to a full time job.

As long as i can retire with the money i will have saved, i wont get a part time job. I will cruise the tires off all my toys, enjoy my music and companion if i end up with one? I am sure i will not be bored. But in any event if it happens that i need something to do, i would like to be a courior and deliver small packages etc be out and about downtown looking at pretty girls.lol

Sheldon, courier work sucks, but then I suppose it makes a difference which city you are working in and depends greatly on the dispatcher.

Dan where the heck have you been, haven`t heard from you in ages, it`s been almost dull around here.

Regina isnt that big. I have a buddy that delivers prescriptions to seniors. he makes good cash doing that but puts on a ton of miles.

Delivering to seniors that would be a whole new ball game...no super rush there. Otherwise everybody wants their stuff yesterday.

Hey J-G, Been really sick for the past week or so. Sunday was my first day out of bed since early last week.
Sheldon, I personally don't work because I need money. It's because I can't sit home and you can only do so much cruising in your car before that gets old. My wife loves her job and won't retire yet, so travelling is also out.
If you retire but feel you need something to do, go to the local new car dealers and see if they need part time dealer trade drivers. I love Regina, lived there for about a year, in the mid 80s.

Good Morning all, Been up for quite awhile. Had a coffee, then went and paid my property tax bill. Back home now relaxing with my Tims. Found it a bit cool this morning. Supposed to warm up tomorrow, with rain. Good bye salt, Hello cruising season.

Good Morning everybody, was up just after 8, did a few things, hey I did not have to blow the driveway this morning for a change. Did stuff and finally sat down at the lap top. Only about -10 and hardly any wind. We were under a weather system which was coming from the north, that is why it was so dam cold but things are supposed to warm up during the week going all the way up to +6 tomorrow unless something moves or doesn't move.

Good morning Dan, it usually takes more than 1 rainfall to wash all the salt.
If our snow melts too fast that could be trouble because all the catch basins are plugged with snow and ice.

Hey J-G, yes I know it's going to take a few good rains to wash the salt away. I usually don't take my car out before the middle of May. My birthday is on the 13th of May, so I normally like to take my first cruise then.
Not to rub it in, but this puts us one rainfall closer than you easterners, for cruise season. lol Laughing
