Hey Sheldon, these are replacements for what is in my car now. The previous owner put a set of buckets in the car that were out of a 71, he did this because the 71, seats were in better shape than the originals. Problem is my car is a 72, and the foam is different so I can't put new 72 covers in the car. The seats that I just bought are for a 72, so I can bring the interior back to original.

HAHAHAHA. Nothing like being accurate? They took a page from the cable company playbook. Ask them for a discount, your time has to be worth something.

Good day all, made it home safe and sound, with my seats. The frames and foam are excellent and the passenger side is perfect, the drivers side has a small rip in the back. But I was going to recover them anyhow, so I'm a happy camper. My biggest concerns were that the seats are for a 72 and the foam was in good shape. They are for a 72 and the foam is good.
Sheldon, that's a cool video that you posted. Thanks for sharing.

Here you go Dave. As you can see they need to be recovered but they are proper 72 seats and the foam looks good.

Just have to get around to ordering an interior kit and then try to sell my old interior to try and recoup some money. I'm going to have to change everything including door panels and arm rests because I'm going all white. I probably paid more than I should have for the seats, but you know how it is. When you want something then you have to have it.

Good morning all, thought I would do my regular routine today of grocery shopping and then some relaxation. However according to the wife, I've only got one more room to paint so I'm doing it today. Enjoy the day.
Alan I hope your new fridge arrived and everything with you is cool again. lol. OH, except for the furnace, then I hope it's all warm again. Cool
Hey Sheldon did you get the 8 3/4 in your car yesterday ?

Good morning to one and all, sunny and no wind and all kinds of snow. A lot of the streets are not their full width yet, so we have to be careful.

Good Morning everyone, March 2 already, light snow this morning and -2, so weather wise not too bad.
Grumpy did you survive your day yesterday? Are you going to listen to hard rock today?
Dan enjoy your work day. Try to imagine those Fords as Mopars, if you hate Fords it could be a long day.

HAHAHAHA. Jean-Guy. i didnt do much yesterday other than shovel the neighbours driveway and walk my dog 3 times. Took my daughter for coffee and told the Ex wife to go to hell. Other than that it was a nice day. As for the hard rock music. lol i do have lots of it, but have been listening to classical for the past year. I have not listened to anything on the radio other than CBC radio -2 for the past 3 years. I hate commercials and shock rock idiot DJ'S who never grew up. Plus i got tired of Nickleback every 5 min on the radio too.

Today we are sitting at my desk in my office at home trying to get interested in work.. So far its not happening.lol

I hear you loud and clear on the music thing, I was joking on that. I have been with my wife for the past 38 years so I don't think I'll dump her now . I can bear some of the new music but only for a short time, give me Motown music any time any day. I don't do the work thing anymore but I hear what your saying as I have been there before, I have been retired since November 27/2014, it's a great feeling. No rush to do anything.
