The carpet and upholstery is in! I kept the front seats with the NOS covers because they were in perfect condition but tore the seat covers off and rebuilt the seats with new base layers and new foam. You can see in one of the back seat shots the metal panel above the upholstery is a bit different than the front door metal panel. I painted the back seat one a gloss black and will do the same on the fronts when the weather warms up. Onto the engine bay now!

Too bad you did not think of putting some body color in there somewhere, it would make things pop even more...like some body colored thread in the seats or something. All that black is going to be HOT in the sunshine this summer.

Thanks guys.
Jean-Guy I just did these to get me through the summer and kill some time while I await the motor parts. I used left over material from jobs this past year and there was lots of black so black it is. I had more than one comment on the heat in the summer but we live on the coast and it never gets that hot here especially with all the windows down! This winter I am going to do something nice with it just have not made my mind up what yet. I plan to take in as many car shows as I can and poach some ideas.

I don't think the heat is an issue for classic car people. If we were real worried about heat and all the creature comforts, then we would drive brand new cars. It gets very hot and humid here in Ontario, and I don't let it bother me. I still it looks great.
