Re: New air intake and carb
Hey Ragtacker, There is a picture of my new engine bay, new carb, aluminum valve covers and thicker air breather. Just go to ''garage'' thread, find the ''painting intake'' post and click on page 6, about 1/2 to 3/4 way down and you should find two pics of my engine bay, one of the way it was before last years update and one after the update.JGL wrote:That was taken with my old Holley, Edurashine carb makes it look even better.Ragtacker wrote:A thing of beauty!

Another way of doing thing.
This is mine, all stock looking (except headers) 340 1971, stock Thermoquad, intake, idle stop solenoid, air cleaner, etc.

Re: New air intake and carb
I thought about going back to the stock look, just because I love it. I do have the factory exhaust manifolds, but not the stock intake or carb. I just don't think that my engine was built to run on factory equipment.

I like both looks factory and custom. Because mine is stock on the exterior it will stay that way for awhile but the engine is not stock or correct so its getting the jewelry and lots of it. I will post pics once she is back together hope to finish the door panels tomorrow this damn cold has set me on my butt
