'68 Cuda Rally wheels ...value???
I've got '68 Cuda rally wheels on my 69 Dart and I'm changing them to the steel body color wheels with the "poverty caps" this week . Anyone know what the rallys would be worth to sell? They're absolutely mint , powdercoated the stock silver, and the rings and centers are perfect as well , and includes all the chrome buts & a lock for each wheel . They're 14" x 5.5.

Lots of $$
If I were you I would try to sell them on the "For A Bodies Only" web site, free to register, www.forabodiesonly.com , they have over 35,000 members.

The problem with the " For A Bodies Only " site, is that the majority of the members are from the US. So you will have to take into consideration that all buyers are going to be looking at the cost of shipping. With that said, unless you find someone that has a 68 Barracuda, that they are restoring to 100% factory original, then these wheels probably won't fetch anymore than other rally wheels. I'm thinking that without tires and if they are as clean as you say, then you may get $300.- $400. for them.

As smoken says, most of those guys are in the US and I don't really want to get into shipping down there, just too much hassle etc. It's the same for them selling to us up here - I was going to buy a shifter from a guy on there and in the end he preferred to sell to someone down there. I'll advertise them here and in the local "for sale" sites.

Just so you know, Chrysler never introduced the rally wheel until 1970. Everyone puts them on the earlier models and they look nice with them on. Bobby
