Dodge recalls all the Hellcats for potential fuel leaks
You know the 707-hp Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcats are hot. Fiat-Chrysler knows it, too, and with today's recall of 2211 Hellcats, the company is hoping to avoid having things get any hotter due to potential fuel leaks.
Automotive News reports that a dealership found a fuel leak during delivery inspection, which prompted Dodge to recall all Hellcats currently running free and in the wild. To be specific, the recall covers 2012 (that's two-thousand and twelve, not the year; all Hellcats are 2015 models at this point) Challenger and Charger Hellcats in the U.S., 30 in Mexico, 148 in Canada, and 21 overseas.
Dodge says there have been no consumer complaints, accidents, or injuries reported in relation to the problem, which involves hose seals near the fuel rail that may be improperly installed. Worried Hellcat owners can call FCA's customer hotline at 1-800-853-1403, or wait to be notified by mail when they can schedule the necessary warranty work.

At least they are trying to nip the problem in the bud.
