duster 1971

Picture of my Duster i bought last year in Gatineau Québec. New paint, mostly complete but missing a lot of small part. Had a 318 in it

The front suspension was a mess, K member was bent and 2x4 between the lca and the frame were holding the suspension. Drum brake were trash...

My first Mopar: 1972 Roadrunner FE5, 400, A727, bucket.

New front suspension, new tie rod end, sleeve, idler and Pitman arm etc 1973 Disc brake conversion.

E body backing plate, Mr Diff bbp axle 3.23 sure grip, all new brake shoes, springs drums etc

reproduction rally wheels 15x8 P25560R15 Radial TA, front 15x7 P25560R15.

Bought 1972 buckets from R/T Restauration in Beaumont. Will match the rear seat, i've already got.

I remember when your car was on Kijiji, for sale. I always thought it would make a nice project for someone to finish. Love the colour it makes the car pop. So your 71 will have seats out of a 72 while my 72 has seats out of a 71. lol.  

Lots of great work, will look nice when its all done, look forward to see progress as you get things done, nice job.

Very nice car. cant wait to see it finished.

Engine is in. Need to install radiator, the one i had doesn't fit. battery cable on order.

Hope so. My car is 900 kms away, in my brother garage. So i don't work on it very often. It will change this summer, i plan to build a garage next to our home.

Bought some parts in Vegas last week-end. Reproduction battery cables, weatherstrip etc. And the TTI exaust is on transit.

I know it's a small block, but which one?

Where is Caraquet N.B. and What part of this great country is your car in ? 900 kms, that's quite a hike.

Caraquet is in the north eastern corner of N.B., by the shore and 900 KM should put the car somewhere around Montreal...I think.

340 1970 stroke to 372.
