brake cyl and master cyl replacement
I plan to change the 2 rear brake cylinders and the aging master cylinder too on my 76 Dart Sport 360 with 8.25 rear. I would like to drain the old brake fluid so what do I do first, second...

Remove your brake cylinder, then unscrew the bleeders on front calipers. Remove the master cyl, use air to remove all remaining fluid.. Then reinstall eveything and bleed.

Don't forget to bench bleed the new master before installing it.
I personally use dot4 fluid. It mixes with dot 3 and it has a higher resistance to moisture as your car like mine sits all winter long and that stuff doesn't hurt paint like the dot 3 stuff.

I don't have a compressor and can't blow that hard.
Keith, what is bench bleeding a master cylinder?

Thanks Mike, yea it is essential that you do that. If not it takes forever to get all the air out of the system when bleeding.

And if you are like me keep some rags close as one of the tubes got loose on me and there was brake fluid everywhere on the bench, not a good thing in an upholstery shop lol

I don't have a bench so I am going to have to figure something out.

Be careful not to get brake fluid on any painted surfaces, like your fenders. Brake fluid is one of the best paint removers ever made.

I know you should see my firewall just below the master cylinder, but I will be using dot 4 which Keith told me was not as hard on the paint.
