The smoken340 Duster
" />It was brought to my attention, by our newest member, Swinger-Eh (Ron), that there isn't very many pictures of my car on here. So I thought that I, would post some. The first one was just after new paint and stripes. The next 2 are from the day that I bought the car. The rest are after new interior and suspension. " />

Re: The smoken340 Duster
Thanks guys. I love the old school stance as well. I have it sitting the same way that I would have when I was 17 years old. Every time that I drive it, I become a teenager again.

Re: The smoken340 Duster
Thanks Keith, a lot of time and money went into it just to reach this level.
Problem with being 17 and knowing what we know now, would certainly take a huge amount of value away from our cars. Because we all would have kept the ones worth money, that we let get away from us.

Re: The smoken340 Duster
Looking sharp Dan, really like the new interior. I dropped my ass end a bit to low, once the new 8 3/4 is in I will fix that. I like your stance, thats the way a muscle car should look imho.

Re: The smoken340 Duster
Thanks guys. I appreciate all of the positive comments.
I'm the same as you Reg, I personally like the car to sit with that sort of stance. Thats how I would have had her sitting in the 70s. And this hobby is all about the memories, isn't it ?

You may very well be. But like myself I'm sure that we all love the cars that we have. Plus by waiting to buy the car this late in my life, it allowed me the option of buying the one I wanted, not just the one that I could afford. Money was pretty tight for me in the 70s, as I already had a wife and kids, to support.

Re: The smoken340 Duster
If it was that I could only have what I can afford I would probably have, I would drive some kind of Chevy clunker...Chevy Acadian? or maybe a Chevette. I only paid a little over $4000 new and then a few mods. It does not owe me anything and I don't owe anything on it.

Re: The smoken340 Duster
Unfortunately $4k probably wouldn't have bought the car that I would have ordered, if I had the money to do it back when my car was new.
