FABO new site

How do you like FABO's new look? It is going to take some getting used to but even I can post pics on this new version. That is a plus.

Posting pictures on that site, was always simple. For that matter posting pictures here really isn't that difficult. I'm not a computer person at all, it just took a little longer to figure out how to do it here, just because the process is a little different than what I was familiar with. Turned out to be a piece of cake, once I mastered it. As far as the FABO site goes, I personally don't like the look of the new site. A lot of the pictures posted are now in jpeg, which is just another window that you have to open to see the pictures. Maybe it won't be bad once I get used to it.

The biggest problem with me for pictures here is patience, I did not grow up with computers. I usually get my son to fix my computer problems.

it will take me a while to get use to the new format over there as well.
For now I don't like it as much as the old FABO, it seems to take up a lot more screen space to see the same information on the old site. But as time passes you get use to the format and then begin to like it until the next round of changes!

Looks like we are all in the same boat.

Hell, I, didn't use my computer here until about 5 years ago. Before that my wife or daughter would post things for me. I'm also the same as you, I have very little patience for something that I don't understand.

I only learned to post things and post pictures, because there's not always someone around to help.

Did anybody figure out where our ''friends'' went?

They are now known as ''people you follow'' and are in your drop down list when you put your cursor on your name on the right hand side.

I heard that Joey, has been getting a lot of complaints, but theres nothing he can do about it. I personally haven't really had any issues posting or sending PMs over there. However posting pictures takes a little more work than it used to be. But I've figured that out as well.

I know I got an abrupt answer when I asked him something so I asked somebody I know. He must have been annoyed that day.

I believe he is under a lot of pressure, just running that site. Lets face it, there's a lot of assholes over there.

Honestly, I truly hate asking a question over there. Because there's a few guys, that can make a person feel like a dumb ass. Just for asking something that they think everyone should know the answer to.

So you got that feeling too ?

And all this time I figured it was just me and my anti-social mentality.
I haven't logged in or posted on FABO in ages. The only time I log in is because I get an email from Joey trying to promote/sell his site.
I've been a member of that site when Adam ran it, some 15 years ago. I went and logged on to find out when I registered, now can't log out, LOL, WTF.
That site definitely not for me anymore.

There have been many changes and for people our age it is not as user friendly, a few persons are not very friendly over there.

Yea they do still have some good info over but you have to deal with the dick heads... I was also a member back when Adam ran the site and FABO has gone down hill because some of the people ride you far asking the 'wrong' question...
There is still some good people over there, but you stay away because of a few bad ones...

I just don't have patience for assholes anymore. These are the few that think that they know it all, are never wrong and everyone else is a moron. These few ruin the experience of going on over there, and they just make the whole site look bad. But as been said there a lot really good guys there. It's just that you have to interact with 9 pricks, just to get a chance to deal with one nice guy.

They have probably been Trumped.

yes it unfortunate the way FABO has gone , most of the guys I became friends with through that site got burned out on the bullshit and don't bother anymore , don't blame them and at least we are still friends away from the net .

Anyo0ne still visiting FABO?
I do go check things out once in a while but no where near as often as I use to.
