Hello and WELCOME, from down in the Maritimes, Dieppe N.B.

since I cant post pics I will describe the car. 1965 dart 270, California car, Factory 273 with air. I bought the car in Alliston ON..It was basically a barn find. the interior was ripped apart by mice, the heater core has leaked and soaked the carpet and eating a hole in the floor pan. the exterior panels weren't to bad. The guy I bought the car from his mother bought the car new in LA and it stayed there till 2004. It has a rebuilt motor and trans, a new interior, the guys at the shop that did the seats said that they stunk so bad they has to strip them outside. rebuilt front end, all new brakes, MC, WC etc. Had the body and paint done in 2014. Tried to sell the car had no luck so I am going to drop in a warmed up 360 and a 8 /4 rear.

Is that rear a 8 1/4 or 8 3/4. If it is the 8 1/4 it would be the same as what I have. They will take a fair bit of abuse, not as much as the 8 3/4 but they are more affordable too.

It is a 7 1/4. I looked at 8 1/4 would have saved 500.00 but wanted the big boy. not rich enough for a Dana.

So your about 10 minutes or so from me. Do you ever take your car to the show at Canadian Tire on the Queensway, on Saturday evenings ?

I live like 5 minutes from there, but rarely take my car there. Send me a message if you decide to go sometime this summer. I would really like to see your car. If you decide to go I'll bring my car just for the preferencial parking. I have a real soft spot for the early Darts and Valiants.
