I just installed mine this morning with a 1-1/16 deep socket a bench vice and a heat gun. if you ever do this let me know i will save you time and grief.

Thanks for the tip, I never used mine and just put some stock type ones on. Once I slid them on after a bit of driving they would pop off, and what a pain in the butt to change them back. I never thought of the heat gun.
Did you do this just to stretch them a bit?

To stretch them and slide them onto the deep socket then put the socket against the torsion bar and very quickly slide it onto the torsion bar. If your too slow or miss your back to the vice.
