I'm in need of a radio face plate for my 72 Duster, if anyone has one they would like to part with.

I have an Am radio, with the round knobs.
It's never been used, but it been tucked away for 15-20 years. I'll dig it out, to see if it's still nice, it should be.

Had a look at mine, you can tell it was used a few years but at least it is not scratched. I too have the radio(AM) that goes with it and when it was taken out it still worked fine (1985-ish).
Giles would definitely be closer.

My radio doesn't work very well. I have an AM/FM-8 Track player, that I want to install, but my faceplate has a big crack in it, so all I really need is the faceplate.

The one I have does show some shelf life, the chrome plating is not great showing some yellowing, it's an OEM piece, part no. 288 4817, but I believe it's for an Am only radio.

or are you looking for a radio delete plate?

Either way, you can have this one, I obviously won't be using it anytime soon, and it's not cracked.
I could've brought it at Moparfest, I didn't get to see/meet anyone from the forum there.

Hey Giles, What I have is an very early after market am/fm- 8 track player with adjustable knobs. It does fit the opening in my dash without cutting the opening at all. However I do not have a face plate to give it a finished look. I'm pretty sure if I can find a face plate for a Duster, then I can modify it to work on this radio and give it a finished look.
I wanted to look you up at Moparfest, but with so many people there, I wasn't sure where to even start looking for you. I did meet Steve, (DustDevl340), from this site and did enjoy the little time that I spent with him.

I have your mailing address, I'll send it your way tomorrow morning. You might get it before Friday, if they're as quick as the last time.

I'm a bit hard to find at Moparfest, I'm one of the volunteer/organizer that doesn't wear the green shirt. Aside from I don't have any specific area I'm dedicated to. I spend most of my time in the vendors area or the arena. This year, I helped out with the engine blow cars.
Typically, I don't have a car in the field either, unless you know me, I'm hard to find.
You can ask most of the volunteers, but you'll likely get a "he was just here", response.

Cheers,

Worked perfectly, a little silver paint and doesn't look to bad at all.
