knuckle busting
So Im curious to know if there are any tricks when changing plugs on a 383. specifically the drivers bank...the steering blocks 3 of the 4...Im thinking maybe from below, however since I don't have ramps yet, I didn't want to end up a statistic....AS well I notices the absence of an overflow for the cooling system...the car runs well, however it does heat up...thermostat is good..the rad seems solid enough...[img][/img]

The plugs come out from underneath. A good cooling system flush should help with the over heating problem. However most of these old Mopars were known to overheat. If a flush doesn't help then look into getting an all aluminum rad made for it.

I thought so, thanks..the absence of an overflow likely doesn't help either.

The proper overflow tank would be best, but I had a Cutlass with a overheat issue that was missing the overlow tank. I couldn't find the proper one so I used a tall boy beer can, it seemed to work. Made a lot of people ask questions too.
