Steering wheel.
I'm looking for an old "ornate" steering wheel, for my '38 pickup Hot Rod.
I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll know when I see it.
I'm thinking something along the lines of '50 to mid '60's, from a Chrysler, Fury...upper trim level car.
Needs to be at least 15" dia, as it won't have pwr steering (I like to feel the road). The steering column is an Ididit, which is GM based, but I can make a steering fit, I'm a machinist .
If the steering wheel itself has cracks, I'm not too concerned, they can be repaired, but I would like the chrome, horn button etc...to be in good condition.
Let me know what you have.

Re: Steering wheel.
How about a square one from a '64 Chrysler 300?

Re: Steering wheel.
That would more then likely do it, kinda what I'm looking for..., something different.
And those 300's of the mid '60's are "ornate".
Shoot me some pics, and a price.
My brother is in Richmond BC., so getting it here in Ontario just got that much easier. You're a ferry ride away, lol.
