playing with INDY 360-2 Heads
But being old and mostly retired now, Porting is a real P.I.T.A. to be avoided if I can ?
but,
with economics being as they are for us old retired fawkers.... I still fart around if the money is right. Still just a whore I guess ?
I used to make well over 700 working with the 360-1 Heads back in the day. I was an INDY Dealer for many years at my Shop, so the 360-1's were the default for us as better OOTB for small blocks, but just never had time ? or inclination for the W2 style Oval Intake port 360-2 INDY chunks ?
We were more specialized in the BB mopars anyways, so sb weren't our forte.
So,
when approached for a Pump Gas 600hp 408 SB street Engine ? I figured WTF because the guy already had them... so use them !
Only problem here.... is he already has Pistons as well ?
21CC Dished Slugs !
So it will be a struggle to get any squeeze at all, even for 91 Octane.
Been here, done this lots before.... we'll get there.
I'll get them up on the Bench for some numbers when done.... but "street" Roller deal so only need air to just under .600" lift.
Still "rough" Chamber work begun.... No Seat work yet, NO Plug Relief work, but coming along.

It will be a chore milling the Block, Heads, Correcting Intake face on the Heads.... but I'll shoot to get over 10.
