Hell, I make plans based on lotteries every week, I just don't go through with anything until I check my tickets. I really believe that you need to think positive or else you'll never win. Lets face it, if you didn't think you would ever win, then you wouldn't buy any tickets. I buy tickets for 4 different draws very week, because I know that someday I'm going to win the big jackpot........

Good morning, -16 now but was colder last night, no wind again today but it seems to pop up later in the day. Cloudy with an expected Nor'easter on Thursday...could see quite a bit of snow but of course NS will get mostly rain. -If you don't know what a Nor'easter is Google will answer all your questions.

Good morning, was -20, -17 at 7:00, -8 now, storm coming tomorrow and temps going up. Errands this morning and even took some outside Xmas decos down.

Just found out that the city is going to rip up the street, that I live on to replace all of the sewers and repave. They are starting January 8th and it won't be finished until May, but they don't give a date. Hopefully they don't fall behind schedule and screw up cruising season.

Hey Dan, they did my street a few years ago. Besides digging up my underground cable for rogers no big problems. No sooner than they had nice flat new pavement laid down they were out there with spray paint and cutting holes into it.

We had a planned power interruption at 10 this morning and it lasted 1 1/2 hour. No storm related power loss yet and I hope it stays that way.

Ya I was just looking at the webcam and the storm surge is way over the road in town. Have to wait for daylight to see how everything is but my niece and her man have a huge lobster pound there so hoping for the best

Almost got killed at work today. This bank collapsed right after I walked away from the middle point. I was right at the bank in the center point of the collapse grabbing my laser receiver and a can of paint and I walked to the right about 50' and turned around and then the bank let go. about 16' high, 60' feet wide and back in about 20'. Had I not moved from i was standing I would have been buried under about 100 tons of blue clay and pitrun. Everyone on site said I was one lucky son of a bitch and to go buy lottery tickets. it was quite sombering to think that I had come close to less than a minute of losing my life.
