Tire Size
Hey guys., What is the widest 14" tire that I can put on rear of my 72 Duster, without relocating the springs ?

Re: Tire Size
I put P25560R15 on mine, the problem with 14 is limited tire size....

Tire Rack has those in stock, P24560R14, should fit fine. How wide are your Wheel? 7" wide rim or wider is needed.

Re: Tire Size
There are more choices in 15" than 14". I run 255/60R15 on mine with 8" rims, one size more would be pushing it and 7" rims would likely round out the thread a bit. I suspect that is the same for 14" and 15" (I had 7" before).

8" rims for the rear would be better, they would make the tires have a wider footprint.philcollins wrote:I put P25560R15 on mine, the problem with 14 is limited tire size....

Re: Tire Size
I run 275-60-15's on the back of my Demon. They are on 8 inch wheels with a 4 inch back spacing. I would not want to try any bigger as they are getting close to my wheel opening at the front of the tire.

Re: Tire Size
I also run 275-60-15, also had 295-50-15 that is the widest you can fit but you have to make sure your wheel have the right offset and sometime depending on tire brand I would have to put a 1/8" shim to move them away from the spring.
