So the Satellite, engine has an aluminum intake on it now, and your plan is to bring the engine back to stock in appearance.

The number 45 is the 2 last digit of the part number. To speed up production line.



Played with timing Today. End with 20 degree initial, 14 mecanical at 2200 rpm. 14 lbs of vaccum at 900 rpm. Never had that much and engine is so smooth... .

Wow that is looking real good. Nice progress.

Install reverse light

Been a while,

just receive my shifter boot. And installed an AM-FM Stereo radio, with rear speaker.

Wow your car looks amazing, I really love all those factory options you've installed. My Dad had a 71 Coronet 383 that had that same trunk release,,,

Installed an 1972 Thermoquad so i could use my airgrabber ait filter



Had 2 small vaccumm leaks between the carb adapter and intake manifold



Not the original air breather. Have  to find one. Need to paint the airfilter base.

Installed a rear sway bar on the Satelitte. It's fron a 1973-74, so there is small difference because of the "isolator"use in 1973-74.

The center bolt is not 1/2" but 1 3/4". I used 1/2" x 1 3/4" washer to fill the hole. Tacked welded in place, it did the job. The frame bracket were bolted directly on the frame with self taping screw, i didn'l like that so i used 5/16" Nutsert.

Now, i starting to work on the front suspension. Tearing everything apart, installing new bushings, QA1 strut rod and a new Bergerson PS box.

Looks good so far, as long as you can resolve the problems then you should be successful.

Did worked on the heater. all the foams were dry. Put new one in it. Now, it's as good as new.

Haven't touch the Satellite since spring last year.

Engine, transmission and suspension is out. Now, i have to clean all those dirty parts.

Bought "machine gun" exaust tip, with tailpipes and hangers from Accurate exaust. Nice product. Hope to have less rattles as the old tailpipes were rubbing on the shock absorber.

Have fun cleaning!

Snowmobiling is over so began working on the Satellite.



I had install a "tuff Wheel" but was not the same color.It is now.





Use those product. Very pleased with the result.

Changed all the oïl seals and gaskets Hope there is no more leak...

Now even better!! Will your new exhaust tips clear the rear valence, or do you have to make some notches in it?

Will have to notch the valance panel.

It rained all day so worked in the garage.

It is looking very nice. Great Job.
