That was fun to watch. It's to bad the police wouldn't co operate the same way now a days. But then there's not a lot of places that would allow it anyways. Everyone is afaird of a law suit today, and rightly so.

The big problem is insurance now. Many drag tracks and circle tracks are closing down due to the high cost of insurance.

Yes I know. I had a chance about 4 or 5 years ago, to purchase an oval track here in Ontario. But the cost of insurance put a stop to that idea real quick.

Yeah we lost the oval outside of Vernon. It was only about 6 or 7 years old or something. It's being torn apart to make room for a trailer park.

We almost lost the track at Ashcroft due to insurance as well. This year I heard they got it sorted out.
