BE&A Out of Business ?

I guess finally the owner Mike Ross has cracked and can no longer handle working with Peter from PG Classics.
I just read this morning that BE&A will no longer be in the parts making business and once his current inventory is gone, that's it, it's gone.
Personally, I buy tens of thousands of dollars worth of parts each year and very few were purchased from BE&A so I don't think I will feel the loss, but they have made some pretty good contributions to the hobby like their 70 Cuda grills and signal lights etc...

I do buy thousands of dollars worth of stuff from PG Classics, so I hope they continue to grow.

I can see where working with Peter could be a little on the frustrating side. I bought my Demon from him years ago and although everything worked out in the end, it was not a real smooth transaction. Peter doesn't pay much attention to detail unless it's in his favour.

Thanks for the update. I think BE&A sold a lot of there parts to other for resale. The website shows they are still up and running, but he could be waiting to get rid of inventory before mentioning anything on there.

Other vendors like Roseville Moparts sells BE&A's parts. and believe it or not....YOUR LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER sells BE&A's parts, mind you they have a pretty good mark up..I priced a set of the 1971 Cuda park lamps and they were $1050.00 CDN full list at my local dealer here in Georgetown. I got them from David at Roseville for $595 USD instead.

I'm not sure if Nigel Mills at National Moparts here in Ontario carries any BE&A parts or not.

So are many of the parts from BE&A the same as PG? I was looking at armrest bases and BE&A are almost double the price. The way the talk was on Moparts, I assumed that PG parts were of lower quality.

PG Classics manufactures ALL of the BE&A parts in China. They would run two styles, some with part numbers and penta-stars for BE&A because they paid the licence agreement with Chrysler, then a run without the penta-star to be sold by PG Classics and many others.

I've bought side view mirrors, arm rests & a rally dash bezel with lenses from PG & I'm really pleased with the quality.
