Anybody else follow sportsman racing on dragracecentral.com ? My engine builder has an altered, he runs in A E/A . 7.82 index, and he is running a 340 CI SB2 motor. Its a 5 lbs /CI class , so the car is 1700 lbs with him in it. He has run a best of 7.35 @ 178 mph so far, all home grown with no sponsorship. He runs Comp Eliminator, thats a cool class. I love Stock and Super Stock as well.

your engine builder......are you talking about Bruce at ABS Competition?

Bruce built my current engine, 440 w2 small block. he is the best in the business. knows how to make power.

Yes we will be screwed if he ever retires or has to stop working.lol sounds selfish, but he is one of the best engine builders in North America. Has several Nhra record holding engine in sprotsman racing. stock, super stock and comp.
