Damn it's cold outside today, but the sun is shining. -1 with a windchill of -12. Can't really go anyplace, anyhow. But I'm already getting impatient waiting for spring.

Well hello people, progress is slow and steady on the gauges...just like I want it, this way there won't be silly mistakes along the way...I hope. The weather for today and the next 3-4 days is about the same, -1 or -2 at night highs of 1or 2, damp and mostly cloudy. Some people are even getting a bit of snow.
Moving back to yellow stage from orange, so we will hopefully be able to see our loved ones during the holidays and even eat or drink together.

Good morning 10 and rain and more coming. JG they have tightened up here as our numbers in BC are going up so we are no longer allowed to have as many a 6 people in a house its now the household only with one very small exception. The exception is if someone lives on their own and would be in your bubble then they can come over but thats it as far as I know so #2 son can come for Christmas but all the others can`t so it will be streaming kids online all day. Man what a mess.

Reg we are in the same boat for Christmas as well here. We will be video streaming on Christmas day but will stay home and not leave. Our cases are getting a lot worse and not like JG where things are getting better.

Good morning 4 should only go up 2 degrees today with showers. Looks like the next week will be the same with only 2 degree swings. You know you are getting old when your baby grandaughter gets her drivers licence, where the hell did those years go

Reg, I have 6 grand kids but none of the older ones have any interest in cars or driving. Actually only one of my kids has an interest in cars, but he only wants a 71 Chevelle SS Convertible, like I had when he was young.

It's a beautiful 8 degrees today, but will be cooling down by Monday.

This new order in BC is idiotic. Kids can go to school and not have to wear masks, people can go do their shopping, you can go to a restaurant and eat with strangers in the same room, you can go to a pub to eat and drink with strangers in the same room but you can't have family over for Christmas.
The government is wondering why a lot of people are getting pissed off. I wear my mask where required and sanitize my hands every time
I come out from a store and when I get in the house and anywhere else I come out from but this new order is just out to lunch.
TO HELL WITH CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS THIS YEAR!!

Good day. It's piss pouring rain here today, but it's also very cold.
Cookie, it's a provincial thing. We a very nearly the same here, except all the bars and restaurants are closed. Biggest issue here is all the big box stores are open but the mom and pop places are closed. Meanwhile the little guy can control how many shoppers are allowed in at a time. I still have grandchildren (one that lives with us) so I can't say the hell with it all. But I'd like too. Stay safe all.

just cancelled our Xmas and New Years plans - just not worth it. We'll hit the road next weekend and do a present-drop road trip, social-distancing and outdoors only. We were going to go to Niagara Falls for a New Year's getaway but after realizing we'd have to do 9 restaurant meals decided to pull the plus. Besides, we can get 2x as many nights in the spring and summer
