1st and 2nd pic typical Italian automobile, it's a FIAT by the way. Short and narrow.
3rd pic 0ne of the cruise ships at the many ports in Italy
4th we went for a ride in a gondola boat and this bunch was behind us.
5th one of the many bridges going across rivers in many Italian towns. These bridges were built around the 15th century and are still used today, no rebuilds whatsoever...I believe bridge engineers could learn a lot from these old bridges.
6th This was on the island of Venice where there are no cars, only a few motorcycles and lots of pedestrians. This picture was taken from the top of the many towers doting the city and shows part of the many buildings. If you can imagine this pic multiplied by 4, then you get the size of the place and besides it is surrounded by water which makes it truly beautiful.

They defiantly have funny looking cars, I really like the water ways as streets. Looks like a neat way to get around while on holidays.

Very romantic, great for honeymoons too if you can afford to get there.

Would love to get there again. Unfortunately, I have too many relatives there to visit and too few holidays to do it with.

Great pics, love those old ruin pictures.

1st I loved those small roads in the mountains although some people didn't like to even look at them...riding through those with a rally car driver and car would have been great.

2nd  Vu from one of the look out points looking at the nice blue ocean.

3rd  The inside of the Roman coliseum as it is today. Shows how it was divided, there used to be a floor covering it all.

4th  The outside of the coliseum.

5th  part of the city of Naples and the bay of Naples.

6  The volcano Vesuvius that wiped out Pompeii way back when and now the city is expanding and building in the danger zone.
