We usually just wrap in foil with alot of Budwieser BBQ sauce from Costco and some Montreal steak spice cook until tender then out of the foil onto the BBQ for a little colour. I have an awsome wing recipe if you want it.

These are my go to wings
Try this spice rub mixture on other of your favourite grilled foods: chicken breast, pork tenderloin, or even mixed into ground beef for burgers.

Ingredients:
2 lbs (1 kg) chicken wings
¼ cup (60 mL) sugar
1 Tbsp (15 mL) coarse salt
2 Tbsp (30 mL) chili powder
1 Tbsp (15 mL) paprika
1 tsp (5 mL) garlic powder
1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cumin
1 tsp (5 mL) ground coriander
1 tsp (5 mL) ground black pepper
½ tsp (2 mL) chipotle powder (optional)

Glaze:
¼ cup (60 mL) maple syrup
¼ cup (60 mL) apple cider vinegar
Sriracha hot sauce to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the BBQ to 300 °F (150 °C) (medium-low). Rinse the chicken wings and pat dry.
In a mixing bowl, stir the sugar, salt and spices to blend well. Set aside 1 Tbsp (15 mL) of the spice rub and toss the remaining rub onto the chicken wings, coating well. This can be done up to 2 hours ahead of time and chilled.
Grill the chicken wings, with the lid down, for an hour, turning once.
For the glaze, stir the maple syrup, vinegar and reserved 1 tbsp (15 mL) of spice rub together, adding Sriracha hot sauce to taste.
Brush this over the chicken wings and BBQ them 15 minutes more.

If Ragtacker or anybody wants to share BBQ recipes do not be shy.
Damn that last one looks good!

Did you ever try boiling your meat first with spices in the water. I usually boil my ribs for about 1 1/2 hours and then marinate the meat overnight if I can, then just warm up the meat on the BBQ, 5 to ten minutes per side usually. this is good for ribs, steaks and other stuff. I usually mix my spices with the marinate and your favorite BBQ sauce and brush all over the meat.

If I am doing pork baby back ribs the first thing I do is remove the membrane on the back side just doing that makes a huge difference in the tendernous of the meat. Quite often with ribs we do them in the oven then finish them on the bbq.
You will love those wings they are very very good.

My ribs
Dry rub, can be scaled up. 2TBSP brown sugar, 1 Tsp sea salt, 2 TBSP paprika, 1 Tsp cayenne pepper, 1.5 tsp cumin, 1 tsp all spice, .5 tsp black pepper.
Be sure to remove the membrane from the rib side.
I like to cut my ribs into sections of 2 or 3. work the dry rub into the ribs and let sit for a min of 3 hrs
Set oven or grill for 350 place ribs into a heavy tinfoil pan and cover with tinfoil
cook for 1.2 to 2 hrs. I like my ribs fall off the bone. adjust your time based on taste and how much you have in the pan.
when done BBQ with your favorite sauce
