Just had an idea ''Mopar Maritime'', their home base is in Lower Sackville or Halifax I think, I will contact the president and see if he can help.

I love your 1993 W150. Wouldn't mind finding a decent one like that. However if I want avoid emission tests then I would have to find a pre 1987.

I just checked on google most of them the steering box is in the rack. I seen on TV that somebody changed the Dodge I/2 ton steering for a Crown Vic set up coil springs and all...they used scrap yard stuff.

There has to be something, Dodge parts ,that will do the trick.I do not remember this being this bad when it was new.Remember it has a Reman box from Chrysler and has a better steering joint than the factory used.It doesn't have 100000 km on it yet.Only bought one set of tires for it that are still on it.I don't use it a lot, and i am definitely not abusive, this was always very well maintain, looks like new inside and out

Hmmm, maybe if you could find an older, retired mechanic, or an old front end guy. Maybe even replace the whole front susp with one off a scrapped Dakota or something.

Something must be loose in the front end to steer all over the place like that, if it steered nice at one time something changed to make it steer crappy. If the box is tight and you got rid of the old Chrysler rag joint there is something sloppy under there.

I'm thinking that it's likely the tires. Wear on the tires isn't the issue, it's more about the age of them. The steel belts are probably fatigued. What brand are the tires and how many miles are on them.
