Cat Restorations
Simple fact, stay away from this company! Well known scam artist is that Chad (The Owner) misrepresents his cars to be in much better shape than they really are!
Re: Cat Restorations
I live about 20 minits from the place and got to see some of the so called nice rides

Re: Cat Restorations
This company sometimes has their cars in the autotrader and they are usually priced a bit under market value, but they take a while to sell. That made me suspicious, so I just ignored the ads.

Re: Cat Restorations
Chad will tell people the car has no rust, running and driving condition, and needs a little TLC. If you say you live close and want to come look at the car personally, he cuts all contact with you.
What he wants is people that live in another province. He offers to give you a good deal on shipping the car ($1000 across Canada). You accept. When the car arrives you will find major rust holes, the car isn't running and/or transmission and/or rear end is shot, and needs full restoration instead of the "little TLC" he stated (some people have stated entire interiors were missing).
He gambles on people saying "screw it" and it costing too much to ship the car back to him and demanding a refund. Those that have shipped the cars back and asked for refunds have gotten checks that bounce or wait months and months to get refunds if they ever get them at all.
Oh and Cat Restoration is not a registered business. Makes you want if Revenue Canada knows about his little business or not....
