Rare?
Hi and Happy Mother's Day to the mothers on here.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to pick up a completely stock drive train (older cosmetic resto) 1974 Road Runner (sat in a garage for the last 10 years) with the 360cid & Hurst 4 speed. Think this combo was only
available in 74. Just wondering if any one knows how rare this car is? How many were made with these options?
Thanks, Reid

Re: Rare?
Alan, any idea how many 360 4 speed Darts or Dusters? My friend has one that he never drives. I can't remember which one it is.

help
Wondering if any one knows how to decode the fender tag, or where I could find what the codes mean, on this road runner?

There's all kinds of fender tag decoders available on the internet, but if you can't find them...throw the numbers on here, aside from from the last 6 digits of the VIN. I'm sure "we" (someone) can help you decode it, as far as options goes etc...

Thank you Kyle, for posting these pics for me and decoding as well. The car is solid, straight and pretty much rust free, altho there is a bit of mud sculpting on each rear quarter top wheel well. Original drive train is working well. This will be a fun car as it is the complete opposite of my 65 Impala SS, 283/2 speed cruiser.
Re: Rare?
Not a bad looking car.

Your best bet would be to ask somebody at "FABO"...For A Bodies Only or For B Bodies Only.
