Ok guys posting images on this forum is the same on any other forum. You have to host the image somewhere. I'm having a hard time figuring out how people coming from another forum to here can't post pictures?

If they are like me, posting pictures was for other people to do. The greatest difference is that the people aged 20-40 are a lot more computer savvy than people of 50-70 years of age. The latest group would be mine and a lot of us are allergic to computers as we did not grow up with them... everything was manual.

I've had 4 people say they are quitting the forum because they couldn't post pictures.

Since this forum was advertised on other forums, what made it easier on those forums than here is what I don't understand.

It is the same in the process involving a host website for the pics to be loaded from. I always upload from my computer on FABO and FBBO. I figured it out with servimg, but I think Photobucket or another would be much easier. No sense quitting a forum over, it is just different than what I am used to. I got it, no big deal. Patience and perseverance!

Maybe $250 a year aint bad for the capability to do it the other way. I'd be in for a donation to get it going. Not sure how many members there are now, but it wouldn't take long to scrounge $10 or so from 25 of us. Let me know if you want to go that way.

OK, now that I am home from work and have good internet, pics are no problem whatsoever. I just did 2 in a few seconds. Works great.

Hey Kyle, I'm on  several sites, such as VCCA, Classicolds, FABO, FBBO and a few others. On all of these sites, I can download from my computer, not using a host site. But as I said in an earlier post, I've figured it out here. So all is good with me.

That is because those forums are all vBulletin. Like I said it's $250 for a vBulletin licence and a lot of work to install that forum onto our server. If this place gets more popular I'll look into buying one.

No problem buddy, I'm completely lost around computers, but I managed to figure out what to do, to post pictures. With a lot of help from you, lol. Should you ever decide to go with the vBulletin thing, I would be willing to contribute some funds. As gdrill, said it shouldn't be to hard to find 25 members with $10, that's burning a hole in their pocket.

Well maybe I'll double check to make sure our server can host the Vbulletin and if so, see if we have enough people willing to contribute since we would lose everything we have posted so far on the move over.
