Hey Dan I f you noticed I also asked to see a pic of your under hood. I would like to see what makes that Duster tick or is it tock.

JG. I'll get you one in a day or two. I'm working off of a tablet tonight, because my computer crashed. So I don't have access to my pictures. I've got my daughter working on it now. If I can't get it to work, I'll have to find time to go buy a new one.

Thank you, I have power steering too but no power brakes. I don't know if you noticed but there is a list of what went in the car when it was rebuilt at the very start of this tread. Oh by the way the stripes that are on the car are the same design as the original ones. When you are the original owner that means hi school was a long time ago and that I know where the car has been. Original color but not original paint.

Yes I did see the list ,very nice!! I'm not the original owner of my dart , but 40 years is a lonnnnnnng way back !!!!! I agree !! So was high school !!!! LOl

I sold my Super Bee (under duress and against my will)when my daughter was born and I bought the Dart on her 40 birthday. That was along 40 years lol

Ya but it was the notorious EX that forced my hand. My daughter just got a 65 Falcon we are going to do and her husband has a 65 Invader thats done very nicely. When the two of them were getting close to being parents my soninlaw was scared he would ultimately loose his cars for the same reason I did and i made it clear that would never happen as did my daughter. Just because you get married and have kids is no reason to get rid of the cars. My 4 year old grandson is going to participate in the Falcon build as well so that bond will start anew. We need more hot rods and people saving them not crushing them imho lol.

Absolutely true Reg. We tend to sell things because we think that we will never get by without that money, that the item is going to bring. As we grow older we can look back and realize that little bit of money was like putting a band aid on a gun shot wound.

Spot on Dan, Imagine what that Bee would be worth today eh. Alot more than the 1500.00 I sold it for thats for sure.
